With 8,059 miles between us and New York, we had time to think about all the exciting bed ideas we’d seen at the Hong Kong show. Maybe it was the altitude, being in the dreamy realm of clouds. All our musing coalesced into the Penelope bed. Penelope pushes against iron bed conventions, cutting a romantic silhouette with its exaggerated curves, which seem to undulate outward from the center of the foot and headboard. Iron castings accentuate the frame. When we deboarded our flight 16 hours later, Penelope was right there with us.
Product Details
- Iron is sandblasted and finished with a base coat. A multi-step aged rust finish is then applied.
- A soft lacquer is applied to protect finish.
- Castings are solid iron, bars are hand wrought iron, hand welded.
Recommended Care
We recommend using a damp cloth. You may use a mild soap if necessary. Towel dry. Do not use care products that contain ammonia or silicone as they will cut through the lacquer finish (over time) and damage your piece.

Arhaus warrants all products to be free of defects in material and workmanship for the purchaser's lifetime. Arhaus will repair or at our option, provide reasonably equivalent furniture valued up to the original purchase price. Fabric, leather and material are not covered by this warranty.
