Story

Stunning mechanics - Working gears, moving parts, and functioning cranks define the aesthetic of our Edison dining tables. Antique black finishes are applied to solid iron table bases equipped with wooden handles to lower or raise tabletops to fit any occasion. Three gently curved legs support tabletops—shown as one of our trademark recycled metal tables; made with 100 percent recycled copper or zinc alloy.

Handmade in India, Edison table bases are cast by artisans from solid iron and welded together.
Table bases are finished with an antique black wax, creating a subtly aged appearance.
Tables each feature a functioning crank mechanism that raises or lowers tabletops to your preferred height.
Base height adjusts from 30"-42" h.

Care

Our metal furnishings are craftsman-built and expertly finished to withstand day-to-day use. However, wear and tear of metal surfaces is relative to use and how well you maintain them.
Metal surfaces should be dusted regularly with a soft, dry cloth to remove any particles or loose dirt.
Wipe-up spills immediately with a soft, dry cloth; remove dirt with a damp cloth. Dry immediately to prevent moisture damage.
As iron is prone to rust, avoid contact with excessive moisture.
Occasionally apply copper wax to protect copper surfaces and preserve finishes. Please follow use instructions for care products carefully and do not over apply.
Do not clean metal surfaces using care products containing ammonia or silicone, as these could also damage metal finishes.
Avoid using abrasives or harsh, corrosive chemicals as these could scratch or mark the metal’s surface.
Avoid sunlight, heat, and moisture, which could cause cracking or fading.
Protect metal surfaces from incidental marks by using coasters, trivets, and felt pads.
Never place hot dishes directly on finished metal surfaces as this could cause scorching. Similarly, prolonged use of hot electrical equipment may also cause scorching.

Shipping

We maintain a 14-day return policy. Should you discover a manufacturer defect or damage upon delivery, please notify our Concierge Team immediately 1.866.427.4287. To process a return or exchange, we require the original receipt. A 10% restocking fee and redelivery fee will be applied to merchandise returned or exchanged for reasons other than manufacturer’s defect or damage. Please Note: Special Order merchandise cannot be returned, cancelled or exchanged for any reason other than manufacturer defect or damage. A 50% deposit is required at the time of purchase. Please Note: Discontinued and Clearance items cannot be returned or exchanged. Before finalizing your purchase, please verify clearance measurements of doors, stairways, elevators and hallways.
