Story

Like a work of fine art, our master artisans utilize centuries-old techniques, passed down through generations, to handcraft every detail of our exclusive Bell’Arte Collection. Made one at a time, specifically for you, in a region of Italy renowned for its furniture-making, these exquisite dining pieces are built from solid wood. Each hand-distressed surface is artfully finished, combining layers of stain, paint, and lacquer with careful brushstrokes—a process that takes over three days to complete per piece. Our Messina Cabinets are made from solid poplar wood and designed to resemble traditional northern Italian architecture.

Details

Craftsman-built from poplar wood—a wood prized in the making of fine furniture—using mortise-and-tenon assembly for superior durability and structural reliability.
Antique Marmo finishes are hand-painted with elegant floral detailing. Layered ivory and grey tones result in a timeless aesthetic.
Finishes are distressed by hand and lacquered for an elegant, timeworn appearance.
Italian artisans meticulously carve all details by hand, making each piece truly one-of-a-kind.
Buffets feature adjustable shelving and two dovetail-joined drawers set onto wooden glides.
Buffets feature antique brass hardware and keyholes, which unlock hidden compartments on either side.
Buffet interiors are 25" w x 13" d.

Arhaus Bell’Arte collections are designed for your enjoyment but also require special care and consideration.
Due to the delicate nature of artisan-painted, hand-distressed finishes, your piece may wear depending on your use and care.
Our artisan-crafted Italian collections can be easily cared for by regularly dusting the antique wood surfaces with a soft, clean, undyed cloth.
Antique wood finishes should occasionally be waxed with natural and transparent beeswax. This will help preserve both the wood and the finish.
Avoid placing indoor wood furnishings in direct sunlight or near sources of heat or moisture, as this could cause cracking or changes in wood finishes.
When assembling your new wood furnishings, avoid overtightening hardware as this could cause cracking in wood surfaces.
Remove dirt from wood surfaces using a clean, damp, undyed cloth. Dry immediately to prevent marks from forming.
To prevent moisture damage, wipe up spills immediately with a soft, dry, undyed cloth.
Do not clean wood surfaces using abrasives, harsh, corrosive chemicals, or care products containing ammonia or silicone, as these could damage finishes and wood surfaces.
Protect wood surfaces from incidental marks by using coasters, trivets, and felt pads.
Never place hot dishes directly on wood surfaces as this could cause scorching. Similarly, prolonged use of hot electrical equipment may also cause scorching.

Shipping

We maintain a 14-day return policy. Should you discover a manufacturer defect or damage upon delivery, please notify our Concierge Team immediately 1.866.427.4287. To process a return or exchange, we require the original receipt. A 10% restocking fee and redelivery fee will be applied to merchandise returned or exchanged for reasons other than manufacturer’s defect or damage. Please Note: Special Order merchandise cannot be returned, cancelled or exchanged for any reason other than manufacturer defect or damage. A 50% deposit is required at the time of purchase. Please Note: Discontinued and Clearance items cannot be returned or exchanged. Before finalizing your purchase, please verify clearance measurements of doors, stairways, elevators and hallways.
