Story

From the elegance of ancient architecture - Constructed of solid reclaimed pine or Douglas fir, our Hudson collection showcases classic accent tables featuring beautiful balustrade legs, timeworn details, and natural distressing. Historically used in Roman tables, balusters are representations of architectural strength and grace, providing structure to everyday furnishings while retaining an elegance of form that evokes their ancient roots. Bluestone-inlaid tabletops feature stones cut from mountains in Northern China. Each stone inlay is harvested and sculpted by hand to maintain its beautiful marbling and color variations, making each piece unique.

Details

Pieces finished in Barnwood Natural are bleached to bring out the wood’s natural texture. Stain is applied to enhance color. Sealed with a clear lacquer topcoat and finished with a clear wax.
Pieces finished Barnwood Brown are bleached to even the wood’s tone and then sanded. A matte lacquer and brown stain are applied and the wood is sanded again. The process is repeated and finalized with a protective coat of wax.
Handcrafted from reclaimed pine that has been salvaged from old doors, homes, boat, and barns in rural farming regions, this lumber is shaped and finished with care by expert artisans.
In addition to its stunning natural features, our reclaimed wood is treasured in many of our collections as a contribution to preserving healthy and sustainable ecosystems.

Bluestone cut from mountains in Northern China, near Mongolia, is harvested and sculpted by hand to form our tabletop inlays.
Also used by local sculptors to form wonderful works of art—this elegant, durable stone is 100 percent natural and maintains its beautiful marbling and color variations, making each piece truly unique.
Natural variations in color and texture of both the bluestone and reclaimed pine make these pieces unique. Each piece will have slightly different shading and grain patterns.

Care

This collection is artisan-crafted from natural materials with hand-applied finishes. Individual pieces may vary in color, pattern, shape, and texture, making each truly unique.
Natural wood may display small splits, knots, joint lines, or other organic features that will not affect the quality or performance of your piece.
Furniture made from natural wood may move slightly due to temperature and humidity. This is normal and should be expected from season to season.
Arhaus furnishings are designed to withstand everyday use; however normal wear and tear is reflective of your care and use.
Remove dirt from wood surfaces using a clean, damp, undyed cloth. Dry immediately to prevent marks from forming.
To prevent moisture damage, wipe up spills immediately with a soft, dry, undyed cloth.
Carefully dust reclaimed wood surfaces with a soft, dry, undyed cloth to remove any particles or loose dirt.
Maintain reclaimed wood finishes by occasionally applying furniture wax.
Before waxing, ensure reclaimed wood surfaces are clean and dry. Apply the wax in small sections along the wood’s grain.
After the wax has dried, buff reclaimed wood surfaces for the desired sheen.
Bluestone can be easily spot-cleaned using a soft cloth, mild soap, and warm water.
Occasionally clean bluestone using cleaning agents specifically designed for stone tabletops. This will keep your stone looking its best.
Follow product use instructions carefully for best results. Do not over apply as this could damage finishes.
Avoid placing indoor wood furnishings in direct sunlight or near sources of heat or moisture, as this could cause cracking or changes in wood finishes.
When assembling your new wood furnishings, avoid overtightening hardware as this could cause cracking in wood surfaces.
Do not clean wood surfaces using abrasives, harsh, corrosive chemicals, or care products containing ammonia or silicone, as these could damage finishes and wood surfaces.
Protect wood surfaces from incidental marks by using coasters, trivets, and felt pads.
Never place hot dishes directly on wood surfaces as this could cause scorching. Similarly, prolonged use of hot electrical equipment may also cause scorching.

To process a return or exchange, we require the original receipt. A 10% restocking fee and redelivery fee will be applied to merchandise returned or exchanged for reasons other than manufacturer’s defect or damage.
