Surround yourself in comfort with our aptly named Brooklyn Recliner, a piece that allows you to settle in with a newspaper and breakfast for one. The deep, grey leather is fully aniline-dyed, exuding grace and timeless sophistication, while rows of nailheads add just a touch of stately ornamentation. This recliner’s thickly padded back and English rolled arms brace your frame, providing support and comfort in one easy, traditional silhouette. The best part is the reclining mechanism that allows you to sink back with one luxurious movement, whether that means easing into your morning or ending the evening in comfort and style.
Carved from solid maple, the legs are finished with a deep gunmetal grey stain that complements the leather beautifully.
The turned legs of this collection sit on solid steel casters that are also finished in a gunmetal finish.
Naturally occurring wrinkle marks, color variations and distinctive graining are characteristics of top grain leather, and add organic beauty and individuality to this piece.
Classic English rolled arms are accentuated by meticulous pleating and punctuated by rows of hand-applied, gunmetal nailheads around the outside of the arms, back and frame. These add visual interest and follow the beautifully contoured lines of the recliner.
Incorporating benchmade craftsmanship, the frame is constructed of solid hardwood and is cornerblocked and double dowelled for superior structural stability.
The seat cushion features a network of steel-coiled springs that are individually pocketed in fabric and interconnected by flexible steel wires to deliver firm support that bends and moves as you do.
The springs are enfolded in foam then completely wrapped in a sumptuous down/fiber blend that is channel-stitched into a down-proof ticking to prevent bunching and shifting through years of use.
The reclining mechanism is made in America from solid steel and offers two distinct reclining possibilities.
Keep your leather upholstery looking its best with a gentle leather cleaner and conditioner.
Always avoid exposure to direct heat or sunlight.
For OIL-BASED spills: Lift excess spill then blot with a clean, soft cloth. The oil should absorb completely into the leather.
For LIQUID-BASED spills: Blot with a clean, soft cloth; wipe spot gently with a solution of one part mild soap and 10 parts distilled water; follow by wiping entire area around the spill with distilled water and let air dry.
