Artfully crafted and carefully finished by the skilled hands of Indonesian artisans, our Neko collection celebrates the unpredictability of natural forms to accentuate your space with designs that can only be created by Mother Nature. Carved from teak roots, stumps, and branches—hand-selected by the artisans for their unique features—each piece is hand-finished with either a shou sugi ban charring technique (to create a rich black tone) or bleached and sun-dried (to create our natural, “Drift” patina). Stunning textures and organic grain patterns are then brought out with a water-based ceruse finish, which is then lacquered for added protection and a subtle sheen.
