Crafted in a region renowned for its furniture making, Italian artisans masterfully sculpt each piece by hand–like a work of art. Our Antonia Bell’Arte Occasional pieces are fashioned from solid populus tremula tulip wood. Painting, distressing and detail-carving is all done by hand over three days to bring your piece to life.

Craftsman-built from solid populus tremula tulip wood—a wood prized in the making of fine furniture.
Italian artisans meticulously carve all details by hand, making each piece truly one-of-a-kind.
Hand-painted finishes with elegant detailing take up to three days to complete. Layered paint and stain are artfully applied and gently distressed to create a rich, timeworn appearance.
Finished surfaces are lacquered for added protection and a subtle sheen.
After the finishing process, the artisans sign “Hand-painted in Italy” in Italian and date their work.

These hand-crafted furnishings can be easily cared for by regularly dusting the antique wood surfaces with a soft, clean, undyed cloth.
Antique wood finishes should occasionally be waxed with natural and transparent beeswax. This will help preserve both the wood and the finish.
Avoid placing indoor wood furnishings in direct sunlight or near sources of heat or moisture, as this could cause cracking or changes in wood finishes.
When assembling your new wood furnishings, avoid overtightening hardware as this could cause cracking in wood surfaces.
Remove dirt from wood surfaces using a clean, damp, undyed cloth. Dry immediately to prevent marks from forming.
To prevent moisture damage, wipe up spills immediately with a soft, dry, undyed cloth.
Do not clean wood surfaces using abrasives, harsh, corrosive chemicals, or care products containing ammonia or silicone, as these could damage finishes and wood surfaces.

This merchandise is made to your specifications and therefore, once your order is complete, we do not accept cancellations, returns or exchanges for any reason other than manufacturer defect or damage. A 50% deposit is required at time of purchase. The 50% deposit will not be refunded for reasons other than manufacturer defect or damage. Please Note: Discontinued and Clearance items cannot be returned or exchanged. Before finalizing your purchase, please verify clearance measurements of doors, stairways, elevators and hallways.
