Furnishing a Better World
We are committed to doing what’s right—for the environment, for our communities near and far, and for each other.
TO THE PLANET
We were founded on sustainable beliefs and have been growing our pledge to protect the Earth and her resources for 40 years.
Our $10 million donation to The Nature Conservancy and its local Indonesian affiliate, YKAN, is preserving 54,000 acres of rainforest in East Kalimantan, Borneo, protecting enough natural habitat to save the East Borneo orangutan from extinction.
We work with our partners, including The Nature Conservancy and American Forests, to plant hundreds of thousands of trees—benefitting water, wildlife, people, and climate.
TO THE CRAFT
We travel the globe, seeking passionate artisans who use time-honored techniques and imaginative new ways to create one-of-a-kind works of art for your home.
Our upholstery partners in North Carolina and Texas skillfully infuse heirloom quality and lasting comfort into every collection they craft, working with the finest materials sourced around the world.
Over the last 30 years, our Italian Collection has grown to include gold-leaf lighting that glistens with hand-tied crystals, the expressive forms and inviting curves of hand-built seating, and whimsical, hand-painted detailing that brings a table to life.
From their family workshop founded in 1920, father-and-son team Viorel and Voicu work together to craft, create, and reimagine—working with a level of care and a love of nature that has been masterfully refined over five generations.
Among our longest partnerships is that with a woodworker named Javier, his three sons, and his team of artisans. Where others see imperfections—blade marks, scorching, knot holes—Javier sees characteristics to highlight. And his collections do just that.

TO QUALITY
We thoughtfully design and lovingly craft our collections with heirloom quality and beautiful, lasting materiality.
Our artisan partners near and far craft our collections to last, working with the softest, most supportive, and most beautiful materials that will only get better with age.
At a time when 9.6 million tons of furniture end up in landfills every year,** the keep-forever quality of our collections means your Arhaus furniture can be passed on for generations to come.
From sofas and sectionals to outdoor lounging and dining, our collections are crafted to last a lifetime† and timelessly designed to be loved just as long.
**Per the United States Environmental Protection Agency. †Our lifetime guarantee covers the frames and spring support systems of Arhaus sofas, sectionals, chairs, and ottomans, as well as Arhaus outdoor furniture frames that are crafted from all-weather wicker, aluminum, or teak. Furniture must have been purchased through an Arhaus showroom, Arhaus Studio, or at Arhaus.com. Guarantee covers original owner only. Exclusions apply.
TO EACH OTHER
With our roots firmly in our Midwest founding, we are endlessly proud of our people and of what we can accomplish together.
We save a seat at the table for everyone, because we know with absolute certainty that diversity makes the world a beautiful, interesting place to live, and our employees are forever our greatest asset.
Through our annual volunteering initiative, Arhaus employees give back to our local communities, volunteering at food banks that serve our neighbors in need, on Habitat for Humanity job sites, and with local children’s camps and programs.
We support and invest in a variety of programs to help pave the way for future generations, including furniture-repair apprenticeships, specialized training programs, and internship opportunities through local universities.
TO THE WORLD
We support organizations that share our vision for caring for the environment, helping those in need, and giving back to our communities near and far.
We support Global Dental Relief in its mission to bring vital dental care to tens of thousands of children in impoverished areas across seven countries, including Cambodia, Nepal, Guatemala, and the United States.
Built in partnership with The Small World, The Friends of Arhaus Children’s Home is the first project of its kind in the Solukhumbu district of Nepal—providing more than 80 boys and girls a safe and loving place to live, learn, and build their futures.
We support Habitat for Humanity in its mission to build strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter in our communities, and we proudly donate furniture and décor to Habitat for Humanity ReStore locations across the country.
"We do things differently."
