Teak hardwood contains natural oils that repel insects, prevent drying, and resist moisture. Teak is also resistant to fungal decay, rotting, and warping due to temperature or humidity.
Over time, natural teak’s warm, golden color eventually fades to a silvery-grey patina. Weathering will begin immediately when left uncovered and in daylight.
Carmel’s upholstery is crafted from an open-cell, quick-dry foam wrapped in high-quality poly fibers made from recycled post-consumer plastics.
Crafted to withstand the elements, Carmel’s upholstery has been engineered for maximum water drainage and air circulation.
Seat and back cushions feature a mesh bottom panel to allow water drainage.
Fabrics are made from 100% solution-dyed polypropylene fibers, which are bleach-cleanable, fade-resistant, anti-mildew, and eco-friendly.
Fade- and mildew-resistant furniture covers are crafted from Agora® Compact Special Piedra composed of 100% solution-dyed acrylic and feature mesh ventilation and a water-repellent finish.
