This collection is crafted from sustainably harvested teak wood, selected for its natural beauty and durability.
Teak hardwood contains natural oils that repel insects, prevent drying, and resist moisture. Teak is also resistant to fungal decay, rotting, and warping due to temperature or humidity.
Roos’ premium natural teak hardwood curated by Arhaus is untreated and unfinished; its organic color tones are honed by finely sanding into a smoothed surface.
If left uncovered, finishes will gradually fade after a season of use. Exposed teak will gradually acquire a beautiful silvery-grey patina (typical of untreated teak wood), adding unique character to your piece.
Our handwoven all-weather resin wicker is specially formulated and hand-finished by artisans to resemble authentic rattan. This one-of-a-kind formula is created specifically for Arhaus to be as beautiful as it is durable.
Finished all-weather wicker features varying high and low tones that mimic the appearance of natural materials. Dry-brushing creates organic textures and adds depth to woven surfaces.
All-weather resin fibers are highly resistant to mildew, fading, sagging, staining, tearing, and cracking.
The Roos Sofa can be styled with or without a seat cushion and is available both ways.
Outdoor cushions made in Mexico are mold- and mildew resistant; sustained by an outdoor elastic support systems for added resiliency.
Zippered outdoor cushions are padded with high-resiliency, antimicrobial foam covered in weather-resistant InsideOut Performance Fabric®.
InsideOut Performance Fabrics are made from durable polyester and polypropylene fibers, which are bleach-cleanable, fade-resistant, anti-mildew, and eco-friendly.
Dense foam padding enables high elasticity, providing ideal support and distributing pressure across cushion surfaces, helping seats bounce back from heavy use.
Polyester fibers encase foam cushion cores to provide additional comfort.
Cushion fill is completely sealed in water-repellent coverings featuring serged interior edges to enhance cushion strength and longevity.
