WHAT IS THE ARHAUS CIRCLE PROGRAM?

Our Circle Program offers eligible home-related businesses the opportunity to earn quarterly commissions on referred sales between January and December.

WHO CAN BE AN ARHAUS CIRCLE MEMBER?

Our Circle Program is open to home-related businesses and real estate professionals working in the residential space who reside in the United States, U.S. territories, Mexico, and Canada.  Membership is contingent upon receipt of a completed application and approved credentials, which include a copy of a completed IRS W-9, listing your Federal Tax Identification Number (EIN or Social Security Number) or a completed IRS W-8 for applications outside the United States.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I APPLY?

Once your application has been received, you’ll receive an email with your Circle ID number and instructions for uploading your W-9 or W-8. After your successfully completed W-9 or W-8 is processed, your Circle Membership will be active or you will be given an explanation as to why you were denied.

HOW MUCH CAN I EARN IN COMMISSIONS?

You’ll earn:


·         7% commissions on cumulative, referred sales up to $49,999.

·         10% commissions on cumulative, referred sales over $50,000.

 

Orders placed through the Circle Program receive current pricing, including all promotions. No additional discount is applied. Commissions are paid on the merchandise subtotal. Worry-Free Protection Plan, tax, delivery, and installation charges aren’t included in commissions. 

Commissions are based on delivered sales and reset annually on January 1.

Arhaus Loft and clearance center orders are not eligible for commissions.

HOW DO I PLACE ORDERS AND EARN COMMISSIONS?

In Showrooms: Simply provide your Circle ID number at checkout to earn commissions on in-store purchases. If a client plans to make an in-store purchase without you present, please notify the store team in advance or immediately after, to ensure you receive credit.

Online: Please enter "CID" followed by your Circle ID (i.e. CID#####) at checkout on Arhaus.com and click “Apply.”  This will ensure your purchases are counted towards your commissions. HOW DO I RECEIVE TAX EXEMPTIONS?

To receive tax exemptions, submit a copy of your tax exemption certificate for each state where merchandise will be delivered. This must be presented with each order at the time of purchase. If the billing information on the order does not match the information on your tax exemption certificate, taxes cannot be removed from your purchases.  At this time, we do not offer tax exemption for online orders.

WHO ARE CHECKS ISSUED TO?

Checks are issued to either the primary contact or the business name, based on your W-9. If your firm has multiple designers and individual checks are preferred, please apply for separate accounts.

WHEN ARE COMMISSION CHECKS MAILED OUT?

Checks are mailed to the address on file via USPS by the end of the month following the end of every quarter.

Q1 JAN | FEB | MAR
Checks are received in May.

Q2 APR | MAY | JUN 
Checks are received in August.

Q3 JUL | AUG | SEP
Checks are received in November.

Q4 OCT | NOV | DEC 
Checks are received in February.

Please allow 30 days from when checks are mailed before submitting a missing check claim. An authorized contact must notify [email protected] of any discrepancies within 90 calendar days of the end of the quarter. The Circle Team is not obligated to consider any discrepancies in question after the 90-day period. (See schedule above.) In order to receive a commission, check that your Account is in good standing with the appropriate tax forms. Any incorrect or missing information could prevent commission payouts.

HOW WILL EXCHANGES OR RETURNS AFFECT MY COMMISSION PAYMENTS?

Any returns, exchanges, or price adjustments processed after payment of commissions will be applied to the following quarter’s earnings.

WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY FORM 1099-MISC?

1099 tax forms are sent annually at the end of January to Circle Program members who have earned over $600 in commissions in the previous year. These will come digitally to the Business email associated with your Account. For tax purposes, earnings are based on the calendar year when checks are received, not when purchases are made or delivered.

HOW DO I UPDATE MY INFORMATION?

The following information can be updated by logging into your Circle Dashboard account:
• If you move or change names.
• If you make business changes that might require an updated W-8 or W-9.
• If you need to add an authorized contact to your Circle Account.

Failure to update your information may result in delayed or forfeited commissions.
